We stayed in Rome for 5 nights and had dinner at Celio for 3 of those nights . Great food and wine and great service . One night was my wife’s birthday and Selim and his staff surprised my wife with a huge sparkler in her pudding and sang her Happy Birthday. I thought that was nice of them . Both Selim and his brother Elvis were great hosts and easy to chat with .

A lovely little place near the Coliseum but tucked away in a quiet spot. Went here for lunch and the waitress was very helpful and pleasant to talk to and the owner checked in on us as well. Enjoyed our amatriciana! Very well placed for an after lunch ice cream at the gelateria right across the road!
